BAM FLYING SITE RULES
CLUB MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY. NOT FOR PUBLIC USE
USE
- The AMA safety code published in the AMA membership manual must be complied with by all
members and guests.
- Flyers must have AMA insurance (Academy of Model Aeronautics) and must follow AMA
rules.
- All guests/spectators must stay in designated areas: behind the wooden fence or in
the parking area.
- No unrestrained animals (e.g., tied or kept in the car)
- All flyers must be accompanied by a qualified instructor until certified as pilots.
- Flying times are Monday through Saturday 8:30 am until Sundown and Sunday 10:00 am until
sundown. (Electric powered and high start gliders exempted.)
- Pilots shall not INTENTIONALLY fly over the following areas as designated by the field map:
pit, spectator, and parking areas, houses and buffer zones. A copy of the map
will be posted at the flying field.
- Every member will check their transmitter in at the impound area upon arrival at the field.
The frequency control board will be used.
- All airplanes shall meet the posted noise restriction quidelines.
- Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children at all times.
- All club members are to abide by and enforce all BAM and AMA regulations.
- It is each members responsibility to keep the field and environs free of trash and debris.
- It is the responsibility of the last member departing the field to secure the field and club property.
- Rules may be modified, changed or expanded during contest/special events at the direction
and responsibility of the Contest Director.
- Guests who willfully violate any rules will be the responsibility of the member sponsoring the guest.
