Brunswick Area Modelers Frequency Control Rules

1. Transmitters shall remain in the impound at all times unless the corresponding frequency is in the pilots possession.
      A. Frequency markers must be displayed on transmitter antenna as per AMA.
            1. Channel number ID plaque. (Frequency number from board will suffice)

2. An available frequency pin may be obtained by replacing it with your AMA card. Pilots may possess only ONE (1) frequency pin at a time.

3. An available flying pin shall be obtained by replacing it with your BAM membership Card or an equivalent for guest flyers.

4. Possession of a frequency pin or flying pin shall be limited to a reasonable time if other pilots designate that they are waiting to fly.

5. Pilots shall designate their turn to use a frequency or flying pin by placing their AMA or BAM card behind the card of the pilot that is currently in possession of the pin AND informing said pilot.  In the event that more than one pilot is already waiting to use a particular pin, the pilot shall designate his/her turn by placing his/her card behind all other cards on that pin location.

6. Transmitters being used as the “students” transmitter in conjunction with a trainer cord may be used without a frequency pin provided that the battery or antenna is removed from the transmitter.
